:: Poems: Point Of View (Philosophy)

Once I stood in front of a painter.
Who was sketching the number 'NINE'.
SIX! He said as he painted.
But it appeared ’NINE' from the side of mine.

NINE! I yelled to his surprise,
Who had no belief on my sight.
Hours of debate proved at last
that we both were right.

From there I left on my way,
But a thought followed me now & then.
If what we both said was right...
why then such a difference amongst two men.

A stroke of wisdom then hit my mind.
I smiled because now I knew –
The Fact remains same as ever,
what changes is the point of view!"
