:: Poems: The Mind (Philosophy / Spirituality)

I know who I am

But itís hard to believe

What awareness suggests

Mind canít conceive

Easier it is to deny

Than to be Divine

I rather think not

And continue to pine

Reality is joy for sure

Yet it is bit sore

For mind thatís brisk

Stillness would bore

Mindís the mirror

Iíve watched life-long

Hard itís to break

The bond so strong

Mind helps me

With all that I crave

What to think

And How to behave

To shed the mind

Is beyond sacrifice

Mind wonít allow me

To pay this price
