:: Poems: Life Is Like... (Philosophy)

Life is like a childís fantasy
Sounds good to hear
But far from reality

Life is like a boyís desire
Always tempting to fight for
But not always really worth it

Life is like a girlís pet
Lovable most of the time
But not meant for ever

Life is like a manís ego
Appears to be strong
Yet brittle like a glass

Life is like a ladyís makeup
Beautiful till it lasts
Then patches appear allover

Life is like an old manís stick
Leans & slender in appearance
Yet helps the man stand

Life is like an old womanís sorrow
Sure to melt your heart
But not always reasonable
